On 2-5 August 2022, Garage48 together with the Institute for Rural Initiatives and Great Lakes Community Action Partnership are organizing three consecutive events in Chișinău for youth who live in the rural regions of Moldova. We encourage the youth to work on their skills and ideas on how to develop opportunities for aspiring youth in rural areas of Moldova.

2 August Idea Garage: Rural Youth Moldova

Before the hackathon kicks off, participants meet at Idea Garage to polish their ideas, form teams and get ready to prototype over the next couple of days. 

3 August Mentor's Masterclass

Mentor’s Masterclass is a training day where professionals learn to be great mentors for early-stage startups. At the masterclass, we'll help future mentors improve skills in contributing and working with teams, and grow competencies in sharing expertise and knowledge. 

3-5 August Rural Youth Hackathon Moldova

75 entrepreneurial youth from across the country will take part in a 48h hackathon to create more opportunities for their peers in rural regions. The best ideas and teams will get further support for implementation.
